AFE2 is intended for measuring the consumption and efficiency of IoT sensors and similar MCUs controlled by battery-powered devices where there is a large difference in consumption between sleep, standby and active mode. It is equipped with very fast 2-range current switches and a 6-channel high-resolution ADC for simultaneous recording of two voltage signals and two current in both Low (±2 mA) and High (±2 A) ranges.
The module has 8-pin 3.81 mm connector accessible via the MIO module front panel thanks to which it is possible to quickly and easily connect the wires without the need for an additional breakout box. 2-, 4- or 8-way pluggable female terminal connector blocks in low-profile push-in and screw-fasten variants can be used to connect the wires.
