EEZ Studio v0.12.0 release

The EEZ Studio Milestone 18 release (version 0.12.0) has been completed thanks to the latest NLnet NGI0 Entrust funding round.

In this and in the milestones that will follow, emphasis will be placed on improving the Instruments section of EEZ Studio.

The most important new feature in this milestone is that instrument SCPI terminals have become dockable, which now allows simultaneous display and control of more than one instrument.

For example, it is possible to create a dashboard project in which an SCPI terminal and an existing dashboard of the same instrument can be displayed.

The picture below shows a dashboard that allows one to connect and control two different instruments.

The home page has also been redesigned so that the Projects, Instruments and Extensions sections are now integrated into one toolbar for an improved user experience.
